COVID Cases Update (11/06)

As of 2:50 Friday afternoon, the Georgia Department of Public Health has reported 3,820 COVID-19 confirmed cases in Bartow County, 14 more than yesterday. They also reported Bartow County had 343 hospitalizations, with 96 confirmed deaths and four probable deaths. The public health department also reports 370,106 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide and 8,156 deaths. [...]

Adairsville Football Game Disrupted By Fight In Stadium

There was a fight outside the field in Adairsville early in the fourth quarter. The incident involved some current and past football players. There were no significant injuries, just black eyes. Here is a statement by Adairsville Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Meredith Barnhill:

One Lane On SR 113 To Close Monday

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation crews will repair a portion of the Solomon T. Dover Memorial bridge over Raccoon Creek on State Route 113 early next week. The work will close the left northbound lane of the bridge Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. This bridge is located right by Copart.

Kaland Christopher Ray Calhoun Police Department detectives arrested a 26-year-old Adairsville man after he allegedly had sex multiple times with a 13-year-old girl.
