Motel Manager Pleads Guilty to Coercing Labor and Sex Acts by Female Victim

A hotel manager in Bartow County pleaded guilty today to trafficking with respect to peonage, slavery, involuntary servitude or forced labor. One Person Dead From Accident at Chemical Products Corporation

A medical helicopter transported one individual to an Atlanta-area hospital with severe burns after an industrial accident at Chemical Products Corporation on Old Mill Road and State Route 293 in Cartersville at 7:00 Thursday morning. A homeless man facing 45 charges in Bartow County is in jail. A Bartow County deputy located a white 2020 GMC Sierra at Circle K on State Route 20 and State Route 20 Spur near Cartersville early Saturday morning that they believed 41-year-old Hal Beaumont Beacham the Third was driving. Right Northbound Lane of I-75 Closed Wednesday

Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation maintenance crews will close the right northbound lane and shoulder of I-75 near milepost 290 for repairs on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The offramp for the State Route 20 exit will be unaffected.
