The Booth Western Art Museum hosts West Fest this Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on its Cartersville grounds.

Museum members and children 12 and under enter free. General admission costs 16 dollars. Tickets are available online or at the museum.

Visitors will find continuous performances on the Wild West Stage, including a Doc Holliday presentation, a bullwhip demonstration, Native American dancing, Gunfight at the O.K. Corral reenactments, traditional Mexican dances by Alma Mexicana, and Birds of Prey shows by Wings to Soar.

The Wild West Hill Area features a medicine show, Cree and Eastern Band Cherokee encampments, the Atlanta Black Rodeo, and chuck wagons offering samples of biscuits, beans, meat, potatoes, and cobblers. Family Hill provides art activities, a petting zoo, a train ride, face painting, and steer roping. More than 50 vendors sell crafts, jewelry, food, and Western goods. Food trucks also serve the grounds.

As part of West Fest, the Bartow History Museum presents Sheep to Shawl from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Members of local spinning guilds demonstrate wool spinning, dyeing, and fiber crafts. West Fest wristbands grant free admission to the history museum for the program.

Organizers enforce a no-dog policy because of the birds-of-prey demonstrations.
