Bartow County and north Georgia are under a winter weather advisory from four a.m. to one p.m. Saturday.
A transition from rain to snow may occur early Saturday morning. Total snow accumulations could be around one-half inch Saturday morning, with higher amounts of 1 to 2 inches across portions of far north Georgia.
Plan on slippery road conditions. Slow down and use caution while traveling.
A wind advisory is in effect for Bartow County, and much of Georgia from Saturday at one a.m. until seven p.m. Northwest winds of 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 40 mph may happen.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. The winds could also blow down tree limbs, resulting in a few power outages.
Use extra caution when driving, particularly if operating a high-profile vehicle—secure outdoor objects.
