In a must-win game for the Woodland Wildcats (4-4, 2-4), Villa Rica scored 29 unasnwered points in the second half defeat Woodland 36-8.

Villa Rica was held to just one first down in the first half of action and trailed the Wildcats 8-7 after Titus Jones had a 15-yard touchdown run which was capped by a 2-point conversion to grab the lead. Sloppy play by Villa Rica in the first half lead to its struggles against Woodland. Villa Rica had two fumbles, seven penalties and a blocked field goal.

The home Wildcats cleaned up their act in the second half to put visiting Woodland away and stay in the race for the playoffs.
