The Bartow County Sheriff’s Office has opened a tip line specifically for anyone with information on the unidentified female victim found Monday.

According to Sheriff Clark Millsap, hundreds of tips and messages have been received and investigated on the case which has prompted the need for a separate easy-to-reach number. The number is 770-387-5100. The number will be answered usually by criminal investigations personnel, if not a voicemail can be left with information. Persons calling do not have to give their own contact information, but are encouraged to do so.

In addition to the new tip line, Sheriff Millsap is also releasing a photograph of a second tattoo located on the female. This tattoo is located on her right wrist area and is believed to be the Japanese symbol for bravery. People are encouraged to share the photos of these two tattoos released to hopefully identify the woman.

As a resource for investigation, the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who used the trash and compactor facility at 15 Cedar Creek Road on Saturday afternoon August 11th, between 3:00 and 6:00 to call the tip line. They want to be able to gather as much information as possible from the citizens who were in the area around the time that the female was placed in the compactor container.

Anyone with any information on this case is urged to call 770-387-5100.
