Chief Thomas Culpepper of the Cartersville Police Department has advised that after a lengthy investigation, two suspects have been arrested in connection with several crimes committed in the Cartersville area over the past few months. These crimes affected multiple victims and included burglary, theft, and forgery.

The two suspects who have been arrested and charged are 36-year-old Marvin Anthony Edwards of Taylorsville and 36-year-old Tracy Darlene Lowe of Cartersville.

Mr. Edwards has been charged with the following: 12 counts of burglary, six counts of theft by taking, three counts of forgery, 13 counts of criminal trespass, five counts of criminal damage to property, and one count each of motor vehicle theft, theft by deception, and obstruction.

Ms. Lowe has been charged with the following: ten counts of burglary, four counts of theft by taking, two counts of forgery, and one count each of criminal trespass and theft by deception.

The two suspects were allegedly involved in the burglaries of and thefts from various storage units. The forgeries occurred as a result of passing stolen checks.

Both suspects are being held in the Bartow County Jail. The investigation is ongoing.Marvin Edwards
