We have received more information about the accident that took the life of Ralph Lowe on Tuesday morning.
Emerson Police reports that Lowe was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 north on SR 293 just south of Allatoona Dam Road. The truck left the east side of the roadway. It returned spinning counterclockwise into the lane of travel of a 2000 Ford Econoline traveling south.
The van struck the truck on the passenger side in the cab area.
Lowe died at the scene. An ambulance took the driver of the van to Cartersville Medical Center with minor injuries.
