Rockmart Police arrested a Marietta man on Friday night for allegedly shooting at another man during a road rage incident at the intersection of Rockmart Highway and Euharlee Road in Cartersville.
Earlier that afternoon, a suspect fired a shot that shattered the victim’s window, causing minor facial cuts from the broken glass.
According to WSB, Rockmart Police apprehended the suspect in a red Tesla that contained a .45 caliber Glock pistol and shell casings.
The suspect, 30-year-old Malvin Ariel Fajardo-Perez, is currently in the Bartow County Jail facing multiple charges. Those charges are aggravated assault with a firearm, first-degree criminal damage to property, possession of a firearm during the commission of certain crimes, discharging a gun near a public highway, and reckless conduct.
