Bartow County EMS, Sheriff’s deputies, and Fire responded to a shooting in the area of Stonehaven Circle off of East Felton Road in Cartersville on Sunday afternoon just after five o’clock.
EMS arrived to find an 18-year-old man who had been shot in the leg. The patient was transported to Cartersville Medical Center for treatment.
BCSO investigators continue to follow up on leads in the case. The shooting is not believed to be a random act.
