Bartow County deputies were dispatched to Guest House on East Felton Road in Cartersville on Tuesday night in reference to a stabbing.

The victim had gone to Shederricka Braziel’s residence there after work. A verbal argument began. The victim contacted someone to pick her up. By the time the driver showed up with a minor, the argument had calmed down. The victim let the minor enter the residence.

Shortly afterwards, the argument began again. The driver took the minor out of the residence. During the argument, Braziel allegedly kicked out the glass window of the residence. The victim became scared, so she grabbed a shoe and attempted to leave. When she opened the door, Braziel allegedly approached her from behind and stabbed her a single time on her back near her right shoulder blade with a large knife. Braziel then fled the scene.

The entire residence was in disarray and the knife allegedly used by Braziel was laying on the floor inside. The BCSO will be taking charges against Shederricka Braziel for aggravated assault, cruelty to children in the third degree, and criminal trespass.
