Investigators of the Cartersville Police Department, in conjunction with agents from the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force, conducted a warrant round up operation on Thursday.

This operation was involved in both the City of Cartersville and the surrounding area of Bartow County. The purpose of this operation was to locate known wanted suspects and attempt to locate stolen property, narcotics, or other evidence of crimes.

The operation resulted in the following persons being located and arrested:

29-year-old Matthew James of Cartersville for two counts of possession of meth, two counts of felony theft by receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and a probation violation warrant.

25-year-old Joseph Franks of Cartersville for possession of meth, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and a probation violation warrant.

21-year-old Reagan Quarles of Cartersville for possession of meth and possession of marijuana less than one ounce.

32-year-old Pamela Baldwin of Cartersville for possession of meth.

28-year-old Phillip Davis of Cartersville for theft by taking.

51-year-old Jeffery Hill of Cartersville for theft by taking.

46-year-old Vanessa Toland of White for contempt of court.

Based on the lead up investigation and the apprehension of some of these individuals, various stolen property was returned to the rightful owners and potential future crimes were avoided.
