Video Surveillance of Suspects

A resident of The Reserve at Pettit Creek has informed WBHF that during the early morning hours on July 26th, there were multiple attempted or successful vehicle break-ins.

The resident stated the crimes were being perpetrated by four males – three on foot and one in a vehicle cruising through the neighborhood.

The resident provided us with a video of one of them trying to open her truck and others walking down the neighborhood.

Cartersville Police has released information on two confirmed occurrences on Twelve Oaks Drive. One was the video surveillance shown on our site. The second did report entry into an unlocked black Acura MDX in which the glove compartment was opened and the inside of the vehicle was left in disarray. However, nothing was reported stolen.

We reported in an earlier story that eight vehicles at four residences within a half-mile of each other were entered into during a car hopping spree that took place in The Planters subdivision outside of Cartersville between July 25th and 26th. Overall, several items were stolen including a gold 2010 Ford F-150.
