More than 100 pets are competing in a fundraising competition for the title of 2023 Pet Partners Pet of the Year, and we have a pet from Cartersville in the running. Pet Partners serves as the nation’s most diverse and respected nonprofit registering handlers of multiple species of therapy animals as volunteer teams. Abby Chestnut has a unique animal in the running – a rat.
