Bartow County EMS and Cartersville Fire responded to Parkway North on Joe Frank Harris Parkway this afternoon to injuries from a burn.
EMS was informed that a one-year-old girl was accidentally burned from boiling water splashing on her.
The child sustained 1st and 2nd degree burns to the neck and chest.
EMS quickly began treatment to the burns and transported her to the burn unit at WellStar Cobb Hospital.
