A medical helicopter transported one individual to an Atlanta-area hospital with severe burns after an industrial accident at Chemical Products Corporation on Old Mill Road and State Route 293 in Cartersville at 7:00 Thursday morning.
He passed away at the hospital. We will release his identity soon.
One other person sustained minor injuries.
The company is handling the investigation into the cause of the accident in-house.
WBHF will be in communication with OSHA for their findings.
