27-year-old Varun Krishnamurthy of India jumped off a swim platform on Lake Allatoona on Saturday night and did not resurface. Emergency workers were called to the Tanyard Creek area around 8:30 and recovered the body just before 9:00.
Krishnamurthy is the fourth drowning in Lake Allatoona this year, following 18-year old Chance Werner, 56-year-old Debra Hansard, and 6-year-old Corday Duffy.
