Cartersville Police arrested 28-year-old Jarrell Rashaud Young of Rockmart and booked him into the Bartow County Jail Tuesday afternoon for cruelty to children in the first degree for willfully depriving a child of necessary sustenance to the extent that the child’s health or well-being is jeopardized, cruelty to children in the first degree for maliciously causing a child under the age of 18 cruel or excessive physical or mental pain, two counts of child molestation, two counts of sexual battery, and loitering or prowling.
