Trevus Jamaahl Baugh

We have more information about the alleged whereabouts of a suspect over an hour after a fatal accident that took the life of 42-year-old Shauna D’Agostino of Euharlee on Euharlee Road on Saturday morning.

In Cartersville, a resident of Euharlee Road stated someone entered his residence between 11:30 and 11:45, stole his keys and $100 from his living room, and stole his white 2019 Nissan Frontier.

The complainant stated he found wet clothing that did not belong to him in his laundry room and a damp towel with blood residue in the back room.

34-year-old Trevus Jamaahl Baugh of Cartersville allegedly fled from the hit-and-run accident and into the woods on the same side of Euharlee Road as the residence mentioned earlier. Witnesses saw him with a severe head injury and dressed with what matches the clothing recovered from the home.

The stolen Frontier was involved in a hit-and-run accident in another county later that afternoon. Law enforcement arrested Baugh a short time later in that area after fleeing on foot. An investigator stated Baugh confessed to the burglary and truck theft.

Cartersville Police charged Trevus Baugh with burglary and theft by taking. Baugh received charges from Georgia State Patrol for the following: hit and run resulting in death, homicide by vehicle in the first degree, driving on the wrong side of the roadway, failure to maintain lane, and reckless driving. The BCSO charged him with felony theft by taking in connection to the vehicle involved in the fatal crash. Baugh also had a misdemeanor theft by shoplifting warrant from December 15th and a felony violation of probation warrant.

We will conclude the story of the entire incident when possible.
