Bartow County EMS worked an accident on I-75 southbound just south of the lake bridge Tuesday at 6:54 p.m.
A vehicle rolled over, which caused the ejection of a five-year-old male. The child had numerous cuts and abrasions, but was conscious and alert. He was transported to Kennestone Hospital.
A female was trapped in the vehicle and needed to be extricated. Bartow County Fire was able to quickly extricate her. Her injuries included massive trauma to one arm. She was also transported to Kennestone Hospital for treatment.
