Cartersville firefighters responded to a Galway Drive address in the Waterford subdivision around 3:00 Friday morning. According to a 6:00 update, crews had the fire contained, but flames in small areas were still occasionally visible.
The fire appears to have been at the top of the structure. According to officials on the scene, occupants of the residence ended up in the hospital. None of the surrounding houses have damage.
