The Emerson Police Department worked an accident that killed 42-year-old Donald Floyd of Emerson on Wednesday night a few minutes before 8:30.
Chief of Police Kyle Teems says it looks like he was traveling east on Old Allatoona Road near Keeling Mountain Road and, for unknown reasons, left the roadway, came back onto the street, and came to a rest. The vehicle did overturn.
Floyd was driving a Hyundai Elantra. The accident report is incomplete at this time.
