During a business meeting this week, the Euharlee City Council approved several items related to its new Downtown Development Authority. They first decided on what would be in the business district. Then, they approved the allocation of $25,00 to the DDA fund. The DDA can only use the funds with approval from the city council.

Earlier this year, the city council established the Euharlee Downtown Development Authority under the Georgia Downtown Development Authority Act to revitalize and redevelop the city’s central business district by promoting trade, commerce, industry, and employment opportunities.

During this week’s meeting, the city council approved renewing the terms of two planning and zoning members and purchasing a police vehicle.
