The Euharlee City Council narrowed the search for the city’s new chief of police to two during a called meeting at City Hall on Tuesday night. The two finalists are current Euharlee deputy chief William Yee and Powder Springs Lieutenant Jody Matthews.
The position came open after the retirement of Lee New on May 1st. The city received 19 applications. A decision is expected to be made on Tuesday, June 4th.
