On Friday, August 1st, at approximately 8:26 PM, a Bartow County deputy responded to reports of shots fired at the intersection of Burnt Hickory Road and Cassville Road.
According to the victims, while driving through a roundabout, they were closely followed by a large white SUV. After exiting the roundabout, the driver of the SUV allegedly pulled up next to them, traveling against traffic. In a startling encounter, the suspect displayed a black handgun to the victims before moving behind their vehicle.
