A white man was found dead in the woods on the side of I-75 near mile marker 303 early this afternoon.
The body was found near a vehicle that was also found there. No ID was found. The BCSO thinks that the vehicle belonged to the deceased man and that the man was from out-of-town.
However, he has not been positively identified at this time. It is believed that the body had been there less than a week.
The body was taken to the Bartow County Coroner’s Office. A cause of death has yet to be determined.
