As of 2:50 Monday afternoon, the Georgia Department of Public Health has reported 8,534 COVID-19 confirmed cases in Bartow County, 44 more than yesterday’s updated total.
They also reported Bartow County had 554 hospitalizations and 147 confirmed deaths. That is one hospitalization and two verified deaths since yesterday.
The public health department also reports 722,062 confirmed cases of COVID-19 statewide, with 48,498 hospitalizations and 11,854 confirmed deaths.

The COVID-19 Testing Site at The Church at Liberty Square near Cartersville reported testing 608 people this week. The testing site is now only open on Thursdays.
