Chief Thomas Culpepper has advised that on April 9th, investigators with the Cartersville Police Department arrested two suspects in connection with multiple thefts and burglaries of local businesses. These businesses included Merry Maids at 121 E. Felon Road; Raintree Properties at 129 E. Felton Road; the old Cloverleaf School at 71 West Felton Road; Full Throttle Pawn at 1350 JFH Parkway; and the Rollins Child Development Center at 216 E. Felton Road. Chief Culpepper stated that Cartersville PD investigators worked closely with investigators from the Bartow County Sheriff’s Office and members of the Cobb County Police Department to solve these crimes and execute the arrests.
The following suspects were arrested and charged with multiple counts of theft by taking, criminal damage to property, and burglary: Gregory Allen Morris, age 32, and Brittany Ann Ruth, age 23.
The investigation is continuing.
