Effective Monday, April 25, the Bartow County Health Department Environmental Health (EH) Office has relocated to and is operating out of a temporary office at 410 MLK, Jr., Drive, Cartersville. Bartow EH staff now provide all environmental health services, including restaurant and septic system inspections, out of this signed and identified location. The phone number remains the same — 770-387-2614 — as do the hours of operation: Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. — 5 p.m.
This temporary move is in preparation for a significant renovation, scheduled to begin this summer, of the existing health department building at 100 Zena Drive SE. For now, the health department continues to provide all clinical services at the Zena Drive location. However, Bartow EH will temporarily relocate those services during the renovation. An announcement about this move is forthcoming.
