Atrium Health and Harbin Clinic have confirmed with WBHF that the two are looking to merge under the Atrium Health umbrella within a couple of months.

Harbin Clinic CEO Kenna Stock stated that throughout its 150-year history, Harbin Clinic has remained true to its founding principles and continues to innovate to ensure patients have access to quality care. The past few years have shown them the critical importance of challenging themselves to rethink how they operate and to adapt as needed to establish new means of providing care.

They can confirm that they are working toward an affiliation with Atrium Health. This relationship would allow Harbin to further build upon its legacy of serving Northwest Georgia and the surrounding region. While Harbin has met essential milestones, they must do more work as they move forward. They are excited to see what the future holds and look forward to sharing more details in the coming months. Rest assured, Harbin Clinic remains steadfast in its commitment to the community and in serving the needs of its patients.

Atrium Health stated they have been fortunate to join tremendous healthcare organizations such as Atrium Health Floyd. There has been a strong tie between Floyd and Harbin Clinic for many years to bring excellent clinical care to the local community. They continually evaluate opportunities that align with their culture and vision for the future, including Harbin Clinic. Atrium is proud to share they are one step closer to an affiliation with Harbin Clinic. Out of respect for the process, Atrium does not have any additional specifics to share but looks forward to providing more information on their progress in the months ahead.
