Anheuser-Busch is expanding its investment in Cartersville as part of a new $600 million nationwide commitment to U.S. manufacturing operations. The company says the move will strengthen its local brewery, support workforce development, and create new opportunities for veterans and future manufacturing workers.

The Cartersville brewery will become home to a new technical skills training center designed to prepare employees for the future of manufacturing in Georgia. The center will be one of 15 opening across the country through Anheuser-Busch’s Brewing Futures initiative.

Company leaders say the Cartersville brewery already plays an important role in its national operations. The facility produces major brands, including Michelob ULTRA, Budweiser, and Busch Light, for consumers across the region. It also produces emergency drinking water and sends it to communities across the country during disasters or ahead of severe weather events.

Anheuser-Busch says the investment will also expand programs that help military service members and veterans transition their skills into long-term manufacturing careers.

The company has operated in Cartersville since 1993 and says it plans to release more details later this year about direct investments at the local brewery.

The national announcement comes as Anheuser-Busch prepares for what it expects to be a strong 2026 for the beer industry, with major events including the FIFA World Cup and America’s 250th anniversary expected to boost consumer demand.
