One person is dead, one is still missing, and one was injured during a speedboat collision on Lake Allatoona on Thursday afternoon.
Approximately 90 minutes after the collision, authorities recovered the body of 51-year-old James Mills of Taylorsville. As of Saturday afternoon, 67-year-old Ronnie Bentley of Canton had not been found. 68-year-old Edward Bentley of Canton was rescued after being in the water for around 45 minutes. He was alert and breathing when taken to the hospital.
The accident occurred near Little River Marina off of Bells Ferry Road (south of State Route 20 and west of I-575) in Canton.
