Cartersville Police arrested Shelton Dewayne Markham of Shannon at Ingles at 825 West Avenue on Saturday night. Several witnesses reported seeing him grab several female’s buttocks.
CPD reports that one witness attempted to hold Markham on the ground until officers arrived when Markham began stabbing him with his keys.
Markham received one charge of aggravated assault, two for sexual battery, and one for sexual battery against a child under 16 years.
