Twenty Bartow teachers and their principals gathered at the Clarence Brown Conference Center Thursday for the annual Teacher of the Year Banquet. The three finalists included Abby Hennington of Woodland Middle School, Jenna Abernathy of Mission Road Elementary School and Melinda Wilder of Woodland High. Wilder was selected Teacher of the Year, she now moves to the next level of competition.
