The Woodland Wildcats (1-4) fell to the Osborne Cardinals 38-14 on Friday night.

The Wildcats had an impressive first drive that stalled inside the Cardinal 10-yard line and ended in a field goal. Osborne was in control after that point and scored 38-unanswered points in route to an impressive and unexpected 5-0 start. Breelace Williams threw a late touchdown pass to Spencer Fleming, who also kicked two field goals in the contest. Woodland went for a 2-point conversion as Williams connected with Jamarion Walker for a late score. Woodland’s 14 points are the most Osborne has allowed this season. The 38 points scored by Osborne was also the lowest point total of the season for the Cardinals.

Woodland will host Cass next Friday night for a 7:30 PM kickoff, as both teams get ready to start their region slate. You can hear the game on Bartow Sports Zone with pre-game coverage beginning at 7:00 PM.
