The Woodland Wildcats (2-3) fell to the Osborne Cardinals Friday night 14-0.

Woodland started the game off strong. Osborne, deep in Woodland territory, went for a fourth down conversion, but Woodland stopped the Cardinals from getting into the end zone. In another first quarter drive, the Cardinals fumbled the football at their own 32-yard line and Woodland recovered.

Unfortunately, the Woodland offense had difficulty moving the ball throughout the game. The Wildcats had some big plays and nice drives, but were unable to put points on the board.

The Cardinals scored all 14 points in the second quarter, but the Woodland defense was only responsible for seven of them.

Dylan Carver had an interception for the Wildcats late in the fourth quarter.

Woodland will travel to Cass next Friday night for a region contest at 7:30 PM. You can hear the action on Bartow Sports Zone.
