The Woodland Wildcats wanted to bounce back after a tough start to the season against East Paulding last Friday. The Wildcats did that and more against Coosa.

Woodland (1-1) earned its first victory of the season with a 45-0 drubbing of the Coosa Eagles (1-1).

Woodland scored 14 points in the first quarter on touchdowns from Jamarion Walker and Joshua Mcbroom. The Wildcats added 14 points in the second, seven in the third, and 10 in the fourth to put the finishing touches on their first win.

Woodland will be back in Floyd County next week when the Wildcats travel to Model High School to play the Blue Devils. Kickoff is set for 7:30 PM. The game will be streamed online by the Bartow Sports Zone 2 crew.
