It’s time for a Tuesday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, broadcasting the very best in local news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.

CassColonelsFBhelmetWe have four guest segments today.  At 7:40AM, our Coaches Corner focuses on Cass High School and head football coach Rick Casko of the Cass Colonels.  We’ll talk about their 27-43 loss against Pickens, giving them an overall record of 2-4.  We will also talk about their upcoming Friday night game at home against the Gilmer Bobcats.

Then, at 7:50AM, we’ll be joined by Greg Shropshire, to discuss Kemet FIRST Robotics Competition and their partnership with students in Bartow County.

At 8:40AM, David Craddick from the American Legion will join us in studios to discuss a yard sale they are sponsoring this weekend, with proceeds going toward Michael Schwartz and his Cycling for Warriors project.  Michael has been cycling across the United States and is expected to make his way to Cartersville by October 15th for a rally before heading toward Jacksonville, Fl.

Finally, at 8:50AM, we will talk with Melissa Heeder about the upcoming World Disc Dog competition at Dellinger Park.
