Around 7:40 Tuesday morning, an accident occurred on Highway 411 in Pine Log. The Ford Explorer, driven by 19-year old Marcos Hernanez of Cartersville, was traveling northbound on the higway negotiating a curve. Hernandez lost control, left the roadway, and struck a parked DOT tractor. He was extricated from the vehicle and was airlifted to Atlanta Medical Center. Hernandez was the only injury on the scene. He received a warning for failure to maintain lane. Both lanes were blocked until 8:40 AM.
