Cartersville Police were dispatched to Carrington Drive Tuesday night in reference to a shooting. A witness stated that he heard two gunshots close to his residence. He stated that he went out on his porch and heard a female screaming for someone to help her.
The witness brought the female into his house with his wife and realized that she had a gunshot wound on the right side of her back. The victim doesn’t know who shot her. She received medical treatment while remaining in stable condition.
