Good morning, and welcome to a Monday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the very best in local news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.
We have two guest segments today. At 7:40AM, we begin our Coaches Corner interviews, where we talk with one of our local high school football coaches each morning and today (Monday’s) is dedicated to Coach Eric Bishop of the Adairsville Tigers. We’ll talk about Bishop’s shift to the head coach position and their opening game against intra-country rivals, the Cass Colonels.
Then, at 7:50AM, we bring you the Small Business Spotlight. Today, Jessica Mitchum will shift gears and focus on a recap of this past weekend’s Bartow’s Amazin’ Race. Along with Jessica, we will have members of Team 7, Deanna Berry and Sarah Tonsmeire, and one of their sponsor’s, Nichole Hughes of C&C Gutters.
We will also begin to give away passes to the upcoming Pioneer Days Festival coming to Sam Smith Park over the Labor Day weekend and we will play trivia for Meal or No Meal and a Johnny Mitchell’s Smokehouse gift certificate.
Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between. It’s all here on your award-winning AM 1450 WBHF.
