Good morning! We’ve made it to the halfway point in the week and it’s all downhill toward the weekend. It’s time for a Wednesday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the best in news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.
We have two guest segments today, back-to-back. In hour two at 7:40AM, we’ll be joined by Kristy Mitchell for Project Search. The goal of this program is for students with disabilities to learn as many complex and varied skills as possible. Kristy will tell us how the Cartesrville Medical Center will be partnering with Project Search by providing exposure to the many jobs that exist in the hospital.
Immediately following at 7:50AM, we’ll be joined by Coach Stuart Chester, head baseball coach of the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes to go over yesterday’s amazing game three win over the Buford Wolves, securing another trip to the State Championship game — a game that will be played this Saturday at Richard Bell Field. That game will be broadcast live on AM 1450 WBHF, online at WBHFradio.org and on Comcast 23. And, considering all of the controversy that head baseball coach Stuart Chester had to deal with, yesterday’s win gave Coach Chester his 500th career win! And don’t forget to follow us on Twitter where we will once again be real-time tweeting the events of the game. Feel free to chime in as you listen to every moment of the game by following us @WBHFScores.
Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between. It’s all here on your award-winning AM 1450 WBHF.
