Good morning! We’ve made it to the halfway point in the week and it’s all downhill toward the weekend. It’s time for a Wednesday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the best in news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.
We have three guest segments today. At 7:40AM, Jennifer Lunk, is an onsite healthcare navigator at the Cartesrville Medical Center. She will join us to discuss the Affordable Care Act and how residents can take advantage of this government initiative to get everyone health insurance.
Then, at 7:52AM, it’s time for the Biz Buzz, a feature segment where we focus on a local business in our community. Today we will be joined by Justin Owen, President and Security Advisor at Owen Security Solutions. We’ll talk about the advances in home and buiness security systems and how the internet has helped to change the way those systems are designed and installed.
And, it’s the first Wednesday of the Month, which means it’s time for us to meet with Tara Currier, the manager of the Cartersville Downtown Development Authority. At 8:40AM, we will talk about the March Merchant of the Month as well as all of the planned activites for the downtown area, like First Friday.
