Good morning! It’s time for a First Friday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the best in news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.
We have two guest segments planned today. At 7:40AM, Joey King, head football coach with the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes, is scheduled to call into our morning show for an end-of-season wrap up. The Canes ended with a 12-2 record, losing in the 4th round of statewide playoffs to the Buford Wolves by a score of 27-3.
At 8:40AM, Tom Shinall, Marketing Director of the Booth Western Art Museum will join us in studios to discuss happenings at the museum and why it should be one of your destinations over the holidays if you are hosting family or friends.
And don’t forget that “Show with a Hero” is around $18,000 short of their needed budget. You can make donations at any police or fire department station in Bartow or any branch of Bank of the Ozarks.
Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between. It’s all here on your award-winning AM 1450 WBHF. Did you miss something? Make sure you follow us on Twitter @WBHFNews and @WBHFScores to catch up.
