Good morning! It’s time for a Friday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the best in news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.
We have three guest segments today. At 7:40AM, Joey King, head football coach with the Cartersville Purple Hurricanes, will call into our studios for our Coaches Corner to discuss last week’s home win against Southeast Whitfield and we will look to tonight’s homecoming game, as the Canes take on Lafayette.
At 7:50AM, Claudia Laughridge will call into the show to remind everyone that the food drive, “It’s Scary to be Hungry” is coming up on the bag pickup weekend. Anyone who received a bag is asked to have it outside their front door for pickup this weekend.
At 8:40AM, Kim Kappel, Director of the Teacher Resource Center, will join us in studios to talk about the happenings going on at the TRC.
