Good morning!  Happy Friday! It’s time for a Friday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the best in news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.

We have three guest segments today, including a new monthly feature with Terri Kayser. At 7:40AM, Terri Kayer joins Alan Sanders for Putting Art in Bartow, a segment that will always be the first Friday of each month. The goal of Putting Art in Bartow is to provide a full list and discussion of all art related activites taking place in our community, such as theatrical plays, dance recitals, chorale events, art exhibits, auditions and more. If your arts organization would like to be highlighted, you can send an email to news@wbhfradio.org and mark the subject line with “ATTENTION: PUTTING ART IN BARTOW — <name of your event>”

GrandTheatreLogoThen, at 8:40AM, we’ll be joined by Terri Cox, Program Coordinator at the Grand Theatre. We’ll talk about the ongoing Century Bank Entertainment Series, auditions, upcoming shows and an acting workshop for middle and high school aged students.

And, at 8:50AM, Marcus Toft with Red Top Mountain State Park will join us in studio to talk about holiday events taking place at our local state park.

Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between. It’s all here on your award-winning AM 1450 WBHF.
