Good morning! It’s time for a Friday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the best in news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.
We have three guest segments today. At 7:40AM, Linda Kellogg will join Alan Sanders in studios to talk about this weekend’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s celebration and the recognized holiday on Monday.
At 8:40AM, we will chat with Trey Gaines with the Bartow History Museum. We’ll discuss the ongoing exhibition on the Bridges of Bartow County, we’ll talk about their 1920’s speak-easy party at the end of the month and run through their upcoming lectures. We’ll also talk about their fantastic gift shop.
Then at 8:55AM, Jennifer Wiggins Matthews, Marketing Director with Advocates for Children, will join us to talk about auditions this weekend for Every Child’s a Star.
Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between.
