Good morning! It’s Friday and everything is back to normal. Time for a big-show Friday edition of Bartow’s Morning News, bringing you the best in news, weather, traffic and sports on your award-winning community radio station.

We have two guest segments today AND a huge Valentine’s Day content worth over $150 for one lucky person who can give us their most romantic story in 14 seconds or less.

First up, at 7:40AM, Marion Coleman will be in our studios to discuss activities associated with Black History Month.

Then from 7:50AM until the top of the hour and then again from 8:40AM until 8:55AM, the phone lines will be open to take your stories. We will get your name and phone number off the air but once you go live, the timer will start and you will have 14 seconds to tell us your most romantic story. The winner will receive a dinner voucher for tonight at West End Docks, a voucher for a dozen roses from Designs by Carol, two tickets to tonight’s Etowah Jazz Society’s Valentine’s Day concert at the Grand Theatre and a music CD also by the Etowah Jazz Society. All of these prizes are for TONIGHT ONLY! Plan to come to the Grand Theatre box office today to pickup your prize if you are the winner.

GrandTheatreLogoWe are also planning to speak with Terri Cox, Program Coordinator at the Grand Theatre, around 8:40AM. We’ll discuss upcoming shows and the recent announcement of the dates for the elementary, middle and high school music theatre camps.

Tune in for Fox News at the top of each hour, state-wide headlines from GNN at the bottom of each hour, and local news, weather, traffic and sports in between. It’s all here on your award-winning AM 1450 WBHF.
