The Georgia Bureau of Investigation obtained arrest warrants for 35-year-old Christopher Napolean Barrett II of Dalton on Tuesday, August 17th for the murder of an Adairsville man. They are also charging him with felony theft by taking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

Law enforcement found Barrett in possession of David Casler-Tyrrell’s vehicle in McMinn County, Tennessee. They extradited him to Georgia where he is being held at the Whitfield County Jail.

On Thursday, August 12th, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation initiated a missing persons investigation at the request of the Adairsville Police Department. A family member reported David Casler-Tyrrell missing after he did not return home from his job in Whitfield County. The investigation revealed that Mr. Casler-Tyrrell was the victim of foul play that occurred in Whitfield County and resulted in his death.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation also charged 19-year-old Andrew Isaac Connor of Tunnel Hill and 19-year-old Darius Knight in the death investigation of Mr. Casler-Tyrrell. Both received charges of concealing the death of another. Connor also got an obstruction of a law enforcement officer charge. Connor and Knight are being held at the Whitfield County Jail.

The investigation of Mr. Casler-Tyrrell’s death is active and ongoing.
