The loss of Joy.

The Bartow community was shocked to learn of the passing of Joy Hill Monday.  Hill was a frequent voice on the WBHF Morning Show.  She was director and curator of the Noble Hill Wheeler Memorial Museum, prior to that Hill worked as curator of the Summer Hill Museum.  Hill was also known for her vocal talent, most recently performing with the gospel group, Ahmad Hall and Friends.  She continued the work of her father, the late Matthew Hill by promoting programs and opportunities for the youth  She also published the magazine, “Our Say”.  We will have more on funeral arrangements as they are made available to us.  Joy Hill dead at the age of 49.
